Kevin Armstong & Giorgio Bargiani Guest Lecture: Event Photos

In February, Campari Academy was proud to host a unique, double guest lecture from two of London’s most influential bartenders: Kevin Armstrong of Satan’s Whiskers and The Connaught’s Giorgio Bargiani.
In the special industry session, bartenders from around New York City were welcomed with Armstrong’s take on the Stone Fence, featuring Wild Turkey 101, cider, and freshly juiced lemon and ginger, before sitting down for the presentations.
Kevin’s lecture, The Art of Hospitality, pulled back the curtain on his bar’s award-winning approach to “holistic hospitality”, team training, and all the touches large and small that create memorable guest experiences.
Next up was Bargiani with The Art of Mixing, Well Refined, in which he explored the nuances of his renowned hospitality and the importance of rituals, authenticity, and working from a place of empathy. And of course, he shared his iconic martini-making technique.
