Created by Silvio and Luigi Barbieri in 1919, after inheriting their father’s liqueur company, Aperol’s sweet and bitter flavor captivated taste buds across Europe. However, it was the Aperol Spritz, established in the 1950’s that cemented Aperol’s status as a global cocktail icon.
